ALEXANDRA DIANA DEMOU

FOUNDER/ CEO

Ms. Demou is the founding owner of Welcome Home Mexico, a relocation and real estate company based in Polanco, CDMX where she currently devotes all of her time.

Alexandra is from NYC. She studied Hotel and Hospitality Management in Greece and in New York. She has a Swiss Diploma and a B.S. from New York University. After working at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Columbus Circle, she decided to change paths and applied to Bank Street College where she has a Master’s Degree in Education. 

Alexandra taught at private schools, K-5, in New York City for several years before moving to Mexico where she continued teaching, consulting and working in school administration at the British American School in Tijuana, the Colegio Americano in San Luis Potosi, the American School Foundation in Mexico City among other academic institutions.

Welcome Home Mexico continues to grow tremendously each year. Our clients, property owners, buyers and renters are loyal and happily recommend us to others for our strong emphasis on meticulous service, follow up and long lasting relationships.

MONICA MONTERUBBIO

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/ RELOCATION EXPERT

Monica is organized, creative and comes to Welcome Home Mexico with experience in relocation. Her innovative ideas, attention to detail and savvy technological skills keep Welcome Home running at its optimal level. Her professionalism and service oriented background make her a perfect liaison between our clients and our agents.

FERNANDA ZABALEGUI

RELOCATION EXPERT

Fernanda was born and raised in Mexico city. She is customer service oriented 100%. Organized and detailed, focused on finding the perfect place and allowing you to have a good time along the way. She loves to cook and really enjoys a good meal, a good laugh and being outdoors. Her favorite cuisine is Indian and Thai and her favorite vacation spots are anywhere with something new to explore, outdoor activities, good food and great company.

ALEXANDRA LUBBERS HANSEN

RELOCATION EXPERT

Alexandra is German, born and raised in Mexico. Her experience in advertising and sales and her lifelong knowledge of Mexico City makes her an amazing relocation expert. She can determine where is the best neighborhood for you depending on the schools you choose and lifestyle you desire. She knows the ins and out of this city and understands the market with ease. She is straight forward, organized and a great negotiator.

BERNARDO BENITEZ

EXPERT REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON

Bernardo, originally from Venezuela, has come to know and love the Mexican real estate market. He is professional, organized and full of energy. He manages many of our apartment buildings with over 1,000 units in total. He is an asset to our team and always has a smile on his face!

MARILOU ALBA

Born and raised in Belgium, from a Spanish background. Marilou was that “expat” relocating to Mexico just two years ago moving here from London where she was living for 5 years. She loves to go above and beyond for her clients and loves to look at details to deliver the best service. Her favorite place to live in Mexico City is … Roma Norte where she can go on long walks with her chihuahua and also enjoy all the wonderful restaurants close by!
